- Pre-study online prior to the class. English or Spanish.

- Especially recommended if English is a second language, you are new to Food Safety Management, and for auditory and combo auditory and visual learners.
- Instructor led computer self-study with our Power Point course to familiarize yourself with food safety management principles and laws and to help your retention of the information given.
- Instruction by a food safety expert that will go over the critical elements of food safety and how it applies to your business so you understand how to implement it into your everyday work habits, and train the food handlers you work with. We cover restaurants, bars, pre-schools, hotels, golf courses, private clubs, cafeterias, water stores, street vendors, caterers, mini marts, … anywhere food is sold to the public.
- At approximately 3:15 pm - 4 pm: computer testing starts. It takes approximately 15 minutes per person to log into the test. If you prefer, you can opt for a paper and pencil test. Please advise as soon as possible if you wish to take the paper/pencil test to verify in stock availability. You have up to two hours to take the test, however, the average is a little over an hour.
- The computer test will tell you immediately if you passed the test giving you a printout that you can show the health department. It takes about a week to get your certificate for license, or if you took the paper version, to get your grade and certificate in the mail.
- PASS THE TEST GUARANTEE! If you do not pass the test on your first time, you can take the class again for free. Retest in English or Spanish is at a reduced price of $55.
- Walk ins pay $20 additional if available. We are not responsible if the class was canceled or is full.
- Bring your lunch, snacks, and drinks. Vending machines, refrigerator, and microwave on-site.
- VALUE ADDED: We are also available for food safety questions throughout the year. NATIONAL CERTIFICATION is good for up to five years.
